Busy Monday for our Volunteer Hub. Once again one of the professional members of our Hub of Volunteers, Miss Ariola Merepeza, did an amazing job by providing the group with a special Training, regarding the 17 Sustainable Development Goals, and Sustainable Tourism in Albania.

As Albania is getting more and more recognition for its landscapes and hidden gems, the need for the youth to expand their knowledge about Responsible Tourism, is fundamental for their social development in order to be more accountable and sensitive to the surroundings they live in.

Sustainable tourism aims to foster a positive economic, social, and environmental impact on host destinations; however, Responsible Tourism depends on individual actors.

Our volunteers discussed and identified the problems encountered during the years and went through to review the NATIONAL STRATEGY FOR SUSTAINABLE TOURISM DEVELOPMENT 2019 – 2023.

The structured training used a practical methodology, allowing every participants to express and share ideas; divided in groups, the volunteers drew a tree shaped concept establishing the impact, the issues and the causes they discussed.

Types of free Trainings such as this are provided by us throughout the year and are singly done to endow our Volunteers with the extra knowledge needed to be qualified members of our Foundation.

We are always striving to expand our Hub with new, active and dynamic members. Anyone wanting to do so can easily apply directly online here.
